By these days, in 1963, the song ‘He’s so fine’ by The Chiffons reached number one in the Billboard hot 100 for several weeks. This song written by Ronald Mack is also known to be part of a story of plagiarism case against ‘My sweet Lord’ by George Harrison (1971) that can be read everywhere. In 1975 The Chiffons recorded a version of ‘My sweet Lord’ that went nowhere.
Today’s song is featured on the soundtrack album to the 1979 film ‘Quadrophenia’.
Enjoy!
